gonna tell you a story about 2 kids
jeff met jenn in a class at school
he thought she was smart, she thought he was cool
they studied together & chatted online
while their feelings began to intertwine
they went on a date & something clicked
things started happenin' really quick
one date lead to others, maybe 3 or 4
they started seein' each other more & more
the times spent together, brought them really close
she was like butter, and he was like toast
once in a while, they'd have a fight
but they'd end up making up all through the night
as the years went by, eventually came the day,
time for jeff & jenn to graduate
niether one knew exactly what to say,
realizin' they'd be heading separate ways
but they knew that their paths would meet again
that they'd always remain the best of friends
jeff wrote a song, made jenn a cd
with a note saying, "hope you'll remember me"
when she heard the song, she began to cry
tears rolled down from jenn's left eye
she sat in her room & reminisced
to the song jeff wrote, that went something like this
